Profile Watcher: The Entry 3 Scanner

10:45 AM. You're watching five tickers.
TSLA breaks IB High (+650F → +680F).
But is it backed?
Profile Watcher tells you:
TSLA
EXTENSION UP 💥
Ext: 12m N: 45m E: 120m H: 3/11 (1|0|2)
Z3: 1.42 Cape: 4/7 (2|0|2)
E1: CALL EXEC (DEF) Ago: 35m E2: —
Zone: ABOVE_IBH GateΔ: 24F (less than 40F)
Translation:
- Extension UP (broke IB High 12 minutes ago)
- Horses: 3 (RVOL ≥1.3 in window: 1 before break, 0 at break, 2 after)
- Z3 Cape: 4/7 (Z3 ≥±1.2 present in 4 out of 7 bars around break)
- Z3 now: 1.42 (momentum currently ON)
- Blue glow (Z3 Cape validates the break)
Entry 3 backed. Safe to add 1 contract.
This is Profile Watcher.
Entry 3 scanner + Market Profile context.
🎯 What Profile Watcher Does
Profile Watcher answers three questions:
- Which tickers broke IB High/Low? (EXTENSION UP/DOWN)
- Is the break backed? (Horses + Z3 Cape)
- Where is Mike relative to Market Profile levels? (Zone, Nose, Ear)
That's it.
Entry 3 detection + structural validation.
The Output:
Each ticker card shows:
- Extension status (INSIDE, EXTENSION UP 💥, EXTENSION DOWN 🩸)
- Time metrics (Ext, Nose, Ear - minutes since event)
- Horses (RVOL ≥1.3 clustered around break: before|at|after)
- Z3 Cape (Z3 ≥±1.2 present in ±5 bars of break: hit/total)
- Current Z3 (momentum right now)
- Entry status (E1/E2 side, mode, time ago)
- Zone (LOFT, CELLAR, CORE, ABOVE_IBH, BELOW_IBL)
- Gate distance (distance to permission boundary)
- Blue glow (when Z3 Cape ON = momentum backing)
🏰 IB Breaks (Entry 3 Detection)
Initial Balance = first hour range (09:30-10:30 AM).
IB High = ceiling. IB Low = floor.
Entry 3 = breaking these fortress walls.
Three States:
INSIDE - Mike within IB High/Low (no extension)
EXTENSION UP 💥 - Mike broke above IB High (range extension upward)
EXTENSION DOWN 🩸 - Mike broke below IB Low (range extension downward)
What "Extension" Means:
Not just touching IB High.
Holding above for 2+ bars.
Example:
- 10:45 AM: Mike crosses IB High (+650F)
- 10:50 AM: Mike still above IB High (+658F)
- Extension UP fires
The break held. Not a fake-out.
Why This Matters:
70% of sessions stay INSIDE IB.
When Mike breaks out:
- 30% of sessions (trending days)
- High profit potential
- Entry 3 opportunity
But only if backed by volume + momentum.
🐎 Horses (Volume Clustering)
Horses = RVOL ≥ 1.3 (high threshold for Entry 3).
Profile Watcher counts horses in ±5 bars around IB break.
The Format: H: 3/11 (1|0|2)
3/11 = 3 horses out of 11 bars total (±5 bar window)
1|0|2:
- 1 before = 1 horse in bars BEFORE break
- 0 at = 0 horses AT break bar
- 2 after = 2 horses in bars AFTER break
What It Shows:
Cavalry arrival timing:
Before-heavy (2|0|1): Volume built up anticipating break. Prepared assault.
At-heavy (0|2|0): Volume spiked AT break. Explosive moment.
After-heavy (0|1|2): Volume confirmed AFTER break. Follow-through.
Distributed (1|1|1): Volume present throughout. Sustained pressure.
Example: Strong Entry 3
H: 5/11 (2|1|2)
Translation:
- 5 horses total out of 11 bars
- 2 before break (anticipation)
- 1 at break (explosion)
- 2 after break (confirmation)
Cavalry present throughout. Strong signal.
Example: Weak Entry 3
H: 1/11 (0|0|1)
Translation:
- 1 horse total
- None before, none at break
- 1 after (weak follow-through)
Cavalry absent. Weak signal. Pass.
The Rule:
Entry 3 requires ≥3 horses minimum.
Less than 3 = no cavalry = don't touch.
🧿 Z3 Cape (Momentum Perimeter)
Z3 Cape = Z3 ≥ ±1.2 present in ±5 bars around IB break.
Not just "is Z3 ON right now?"
But: "Was Z3 ON during the break window?"
The Format: Cape: 4/7 (2|0|2)
4/7 = Z3 ≥ ±1.2 in 4 out of 7 bars around break
2|0|2:
- 2 before = Z3 ON in 2 bars BEFORE break
- 0 at = Z3 OFF at break bar
- 2 after = Z3 ON in 2 bars AFTER break
Why Window, Not Just "Now"?
Z3 can flicker on/off bar-to-bar.
Example:
- Bar -2: Z3 = 1.4 (ON)
- Bar -1: Z3 = 1.1 (OFF, just below threshold)
- Bar 0: Z3 = 1.3 (ON)
- Bar +1: Z3 = 1.2 (ON)
- Bar +2: Z3 = 0.9 (OFF)
Z3 "now" at bar +2 = OFF.
But Z3 Cape = 4/5 bars had Z3 ON.
Momentum present in window, even if currently flickering.
Blue Glow (Cape ON):
When Z3 Cape hit > 0:
Card border glows blue.
Translation: Momentum was present during break window.
Safe to consider Entry 3.
No Glow (Cape OFF):
When Z3 Cape hit = 0:
Normal border.
Translation: No momentum during break window.
Pass Entry 3.
Example: Strong Cape
Z3: 1.42 Cape: 5/7 (2|1|2)
Translation:
- Current Z3 = 1.42 (ON)
- Z3 ≥1.2 in 5 out of 7 bars
- 2 before, 1 at, 2 after
- Blue glow present
Momentum backed. Enter.
Example: Weak Cape
Z3: 0.85 Cape: 1/7 (0|0|1)
Translation:
- Current Z3 = 0.85 (OFF)
- Z3 ≥1.2 in only 1 bar (after break)
- No momentum before or at break
- No blue glow
Momentum absent. Pass.
🧭 Zone (IB Location Context)
Zone shows where Mike is relative to IB structure:
ABOVE_IBH
- Mike above IB High
- Extension UP active
- Entry 3 long opportunity
LOFT
- Top third of IB (Mike between IB_Top_Third and IB_High)
- Calls blocked here (⏳)
- Near ceiling, rejection risk high
CORE
- Middle third of IB (Mike between IB_Mid_Third and IB_Top_Third)
- Safe zone
- Entries allowed
CELLAR
- Bottom third of IB (Mike between IB_Low and IB_Mid_Third)
- Puts blocked here (⏳)
- Near floor, bounce risk high
BELOW_IBL
- Mike below IB Low
- Extension DOWN active
- Entry 3 short opportunity
Why Zone Matters:
Tells you where Mike is in auction structure.
ABOVE_IBH/BELOW_IBL = extension (Entry 3 context).
LOFT/CELLAR = blocked zones (Entry 1 won't fire clean).
CORE = safe zone (Entry 1 allowed).
🎯 Gate Distance (Permission Boundary)
Gate = permission boundary for Entry 1.
CALL gate = IB_Top_Third (start of LOFT)
PUT gate = IB_Mid_Third (start of CELLAR)
Format: GateΔ: 24F (less than 40F)
24F = Distance to gate (absolute value)
less than 40F = Bucket (categorizes distance)
Buckets:
Less than 5F = Very close (imminent block/unblock)
Less than 10F = Close (watch closely)
Less than 40F = Moderate (within range)
40F+ = Far (not relevant)
Why This Matters:
If Mike in CORE but moving toward LOFT:
GateΔ tells you: "Mike 8F from LOFT gate, calls about to block."
If Mike in LOFT moving toward CORE:
GateΔ tells you: "Mike 12F from LOFT exit, calls about to unblock."
👃 Nose (POC Crossings)
Nose = POC (Point of Control).
Most time spent at this level.
Magnet (Mike tests it repeatedly).
Format: N: 45m
45m = Last crossed POC 45 minutes ago.
— = Haven't crossed POC yet this session.
Why Track This:
POC = mean reversion level.
When Mike far from POC → gravitates back.
Example:
- Mike at +700F (ABOVE_IBH)
- POC at +580F
- N: 120m (crossed 2 hours ago)
Translation: Mike extended far from POC. Likely to pull back toward +580F.
🦻 Ear (VPOC Crossings)
Ear = VPOC (Volume POC).
Most volume traded at this level.
Liquidity magnet.
Format: E: 120m
120m = Last crossed VPOC 2 hours ago.
— = Haven't crossed VPOC yet this session.
Why Track This:
VPOC = liquidity pool.
Unfilled orders stack here.
Mike gets pulled back to fill them.
⏰ Time Metrics (Ext/Nose/Ear)
Three timers:
Ext: Minutes since extension started (IB break)
N: Minutes since last nose crossing (POC)
E: Minutes since last ear crossing (VPOC)
Example:
Ext: 12m N: 45m E: 120m
Translation:
- Broke IB 12 minutes ago (fresh extension)
- Crossed POC 45 minutes ago (moderate time away)
- Crossed VPOC 2 hours ago (long time away)
Insight: Fresh extension. Hasn't tested POC recently (likely to soon). Far from VPOC (might not reach today).
📋 Entry Status (E1/E2 Context)
Shows latest Entry 1 and Entry 2:
E1 Format: CALL EXEC (DEF) !
CALL/PUT = Side
EXEC/WAIT:
- EXEC = Executable entry (🎯 fired)
- WAIT = Blocked entry (⏳ fired, waiting for reclaim)
(DEF) = Deferred entry (reclaim after block)
! = Reinforcement present (❗️ horses during recovery)
E2 Format: CALL 25m
CALL/PUT = Side
25m = E2 fired 25 minutes ago
— = No E2 yet
Example:
E1: CALL EXEC (DEF) ! Ago: 35m
E2: CALL 25m
Translation:
- E1 CALL fired as deferred entry (was blocked, then reclaimed) 35 minutes ago
- Reinforcement present (horses during recovery)
- E2 CALL fired 25 minutes ago (add-size opportunity)
Scout entered, recovered with volume, add-size confirmed.
🎨 Visual Signals
Profile Watcher uses visual cues:
1. Border Color:
Dark gray = INSIDE (no extension)
Orange = EXTENSION UP 💥 (bullish break)
Purple = EXTENSION DOWN 🩸 (bearish break)
2. Blue Glow:
Present = Z3 Cape ON (momentum backing)
Absent = Z3 Cape OFF (no momentum)
3. Status Text:
BALANCED = Inside IB
EXTENSION UP 💥 = Above IB High
EXTENSION DOWN 🩸 = Below IB Low
🔥 Real Example: TSLA Extension
TSLA Profile Card:
TSLA
EXTENSION DOWN 🩸
Ext: 15m N: 20m E: 90m H: 4/11 (1|1|2)
Z3: -2.62 Cape: 6/7 (2|1|3)
E1: PUT EXEC Ago: 25m E2: PUT 15m
Zone: BELOW_IBL GateΔ: 35F (less than 40F)
[Blue glow present on card border]
Translation:
Extension DOWN:
- Broke IB Low 15 minutes ago
- Purple border (bearish break)
Horses: 4/11 (1|1|2):
- 4 horses total
- 1 before, 1 at, 2 after break
- Cavalry present
Z3 Cape: 6/7 (2|1|3):
- Z3 ≥1.2 in 6 out of 7 bars
- Strong momentum perimeter
- Blue glow ON
Current Z3: -2.62:
- Extreme bearish momentum (very strong)
Entries:
- E1 PUT 25 minutes ago (scout in)
- E2 PUT 15 minutes ago (added size)
Zone: BELOW_IBL:
- Mike below IB Low
- Extension confirmed
Gate: 35F away:
- Moderate distance from PUT gate
Decision:
Entry 3 backed:
- ✅ Extension DOWN (IB break)
- ✅ Horses (4 total, distributed)
- ✅ Z3 Cape (6/7, strong)
- ✅ Blue glow (momentum present)
Add 1 contract (Entry 3).
🚫 When Not to Enter Entry 3
Profile Watcher shows extensions. Doesn't mean enter all of them.
Red Flags:
1. No Horses (less than 3 total):
H: 2/11 (0|1|1)
No cavalry. Pass.
2. No Z3 Cape (hit = 0):
Cape: 0/7 (0|0|0)
No momentum. Pass.
3. No Blue Glow: Card border normal (not glowing). Z3 Cape OFF. Pass.
4. Extension Too Old (greater than 60m):
Ext: 90m
Stale break. Pass.
5. E1/E2 Both Missing:
E1: — E2: —
No scout entry yet. Wait for E1 first.
The Rule:
Entry 3 requires ALL of:
- ✅ Extension (UP or DOWN)
- ✅ Horses (≥3 total)
- ✅ Z3 Cape (hit > 0, blue glow)
- ✅ Fresh (less than 30m ideally, less than 60m max)
All four = enter 1 contract (Entry 3).
Missing one = pass.
🧠 The Mental Model
Profile Watcher is a fortress assault monitor.
You're the general.
Each ticker = one fortress (Initial Balance).
The screen shows:
- Which fortresses breached (EXTENSION UP/DOWN)
- Cavalry present? (Horses count)
- Momentum backing? (Z3 Cape, blue glow)
- How long since breach? (Ext timer)
- Where are magnets? (Nose/Ear timers)
Your decision:
TSLA fortress breached. Cavalry present (4 horses). Momentum backing (Z3 Cape 6/7, blue glow). Fresh breach (15m ago).
Send troops (Enter Entry 3).
COIN fortress breached. No cavalry (1 horse). No momentum (Cape 0/7). Stale breach (90m ago).
Don't send troops (Pass).
🔱 Complete Card Anatomy
Let's break down one card fully:
TSLA Card:
TSLA

Full validation in one card.
❓ Questions
"What if extension is old (60m+)?"
Pass.
Stale breaks lose momentum. Entry 3 works best on fresh breaks (less than 30m).
"Can I enter Entry 3 without E1?"
Risky.
E1 = scout entry (cushion builder).
Entry 3 without E1 = no cushion. Full risk.
Prefer: E1 → (E2) → Entry 3 progression.
"What's a good Z3 Cape score?"
≥50% hit rate:
- 3/7 or higher = good
- 4/7 = strong
- 5/7+ = excellent
Below 3/7 = weak, pass.
"What if blue glow but no horses?"
Pass.
Need BOTH momentum (Z3 Cape) AND volume (Horses).
One without the other = incomplete signal.
"How many horses is enough?"
Minimum: 3 total.
Ideal: 4-5 total.
Distribution matters:
- Distributed (1|1|1) = sustained
- Clumped (0|3|0) = explosive but check Cape
"What does 'reinforcement' (!) mean?"
E1 blocked, then reclaimed WITH horses during recovery.
Example:
- E1 blocked at +519F (⏳)
- Mike drops to +480F (MAE)
- RVOL spikes during recovery (+480F → +519F)
- Reclaim with reinforcement (!)
Shows: Volume backed the recovery. Strong reclaim.
🎯 The Bottom Line
Profile Watcher answers:
Which tickers broke IB High/Low (Entry 3)?
Is the break backed (Horses + Z3 Cape)?
Where is Mike relative to Profile levels (Zone, Nose, Ear)?
Visual signals:
- Orange border = EXTENSION UP 💥
- Purple border = EXTENSION DOWN 🩸
- Blue glow = Z3 Cape ON (momentum backing)
- Gray border = INSIDE (no extension)
Key metrics:
- Horses = RVOL ≥1.3 clustered (before|at|after break)
- Z3 Cape = Z3 ≥±1.2 in ±5 bars around break
- Ext = Minutes since extension
- Zone = IB location (LOFT/CELLAR/CORE/ABOVE_IBH/BELOW_IBL)
- Gate = Distance to permission boundary
Entry 3 requires:
